Hello All :)
There has been a new Mega Evolution released for Sableye. It doesn't change type and doesn't change it's physical appearance drastically. The only physical changes it takes on are new read gem eyes and the spiky parts of it's body became longer and more defined. The major change comes in the form of a red gem that Sableye uses as a shield.
I do really like this Mega Evolution as Sableye's original design was not really a stand out and it seemed to me to be nothing more than a small 'elf-like' creature, however this Mega Evolution makes Sableye look a lot darker where you don't know if, as it looks, this Mega Evolution will make Sableye more defencive, or will simply give him more opportunity to attack.
There were rumors that the colour of the gem, and possibly Sableye's eyes, will change to blue in Alpha Sapphire and this red design will be obtainable in Omega Ruby, similar to the two Mega Evolutions for Mewtwo, one obtainable in X and the other in Y.
Over all this Mega Evolution is definitely an improvement from Sableye's original design and I really like the idea of a separate 'blue version' for Alpha Sapphire.
Thank you for reading :)

Pokemon Sprite #4 - Virizion
Hello all :)
Now I'm not too sure about this one since I tried something new, I've simply added extra features to Virizion but I've kept the colours of Virizion so the new features are literally now an extension to Virizion. The extra features that I used for the 'antenna' and the extension of the tail have come from a Milotic and the extension to the upper leg part are the leaves of a Shiftry.
I hope you like this new 'style' that I've tried so please let me know what you think :)

Update #1 - Social Media
Hello all :)
I now have twitter specially for this blog :) I created this to have a place just for updates on when a new sprite is coming or when a new review is coming and even just for things such as internet problems etc. This helps not to clutter up the blog it's self with small posts just saying "I've had internet problems", which would fit on twitter :)
I have also made an e-mail specially for this blog which you guys can use if say you have a question that you feel is too long for the comments or you have a personal request, so I'll leave the links to both of these below :)
I'm also using my personal Tumblr to upload the pics for this blog so I'll include this in the links as well, I haven't made an instagram for this blog since logging in and out of my personal one would be really annoying :P

Review #2 - Nintendo's E3 Presentation
Hello all :)
Nintendo's E3 digital presentation just took place today and there was a lot revealed from some major series and I'm going to take you through all the major parts, not just pokemon. Nintendo showed a Digital Presentation this year not a press conference but the main part of dolls of characters and Reggie, I found were really creepy so I would of prefered a actual conference but Nintendo not doing a presentation was not surprising after them not doing one last year and only showing a Nintendo Direct.
Let's start with Pokemon first. We all know that Pokemon Alpha Sapphire and Omega Ruby are coming this November, which is very fast but so far we've had no gameplay. That all changed today, we were treated to a gameplay trailer that basically confirmed all that was leaked in the CoroCoro magazine, such as the mega evolutions, redesigned characters (the trainers, Maxie and Archie) and Steven Stone being a part of the game. The game its self looks almost exactly like X and Y from this trailer, especially in the battles how ever I got the feeling that the clips in this trailer were very rushed which is quite surprising for a game that is being released so soon. The major new reveal in this trailer is that Groudon and Kyogre do appear to transform into their 'forms' that appear on the box art of the game.
But that was really about it in terms of reveals from Pokemon which overall is quite disappointing considering the game is being released on the 14th of November I believe which is very fast considering it hasn't even been a year since X and Y's release.
The two major releases this year were of the two new games for The Legend of Zelda and then new reveals for the new Super Smash Bros. game.
Super Smash Bros. showed two new fighters and a new gameplay mechanic. The first of the new fighters was the Mii Fighter. These are not generic Mii's they are the Mii's created by the player and there are three varieties of fighting styles for the Mii's. These are the Brawler, the Swordfighter, and the Gunner. Brawlers are fast and have hand to hand fighting styles whereas the Sword Fighters are more melee weapon based, like Link, through using weapons like a sword, and the Gunners are, in a way that Sword Fighters are similar to Link, appear to be similar to characters like Samus in a way where they fight with a 'Laser arm'. As far as their moves it was confirmed that they would have customisable move sets as each type has 12 options for the player to chose 4 moves from.
The next character reveal was Lady Palutena from Kid Icarus. She appears to fight like a mage while being able to move very quickly. However overall I'm looking forward to fighting with Greninja from Pokemon X and Y as a playable character much more.
The game looks very nice from trailers however I was concerned that on the 3DS version the characters have black outlines around them that are quite thick so I was concerned how this will look with fast moving characters. These out lines don't appear in the Wii U version but in a very fast clip from a montage it appeared that the out lines could be removed but this was not talked about in detail so it looks like we'll have to wait for the game to be able to play around with that but I would prefer the 3DS version not to have the out lines as it looks like they could hurt the eyes if they contrast with fast moving characters and lots of action.
The major gameplay mechanic that was revealed was Amiibo, which appears to be very similar to Disney Infinity and Skylanders where a figure will bring the character into the game. However the figures can also store data and any Wii U system will recognise them and this will then download the figure's data and visa versa, which should let this character "evolve as a fighter" as the data will change as you play.
Other games do have Amiibo compatibility coming and today the first was revealed to be Mario Kart 8.
Overall the models themselves look very nice and depending on their price I'm sure some dedicated fans may even buy them as decorative figures as they look to be very high quality.
The release dates were also finally revealed to be October 3rd for the 3DS version and the 2014 holidays for the Wii U version.
There were two games talked about for the Legend of Zelda series. The most anticipated of these was 'Zelda HD' (which doesn't have a title yet). Not many new details were revealed about this game other than the developers showed a shot presumably from the game and then a very short trailer. The shot showed a incredibly vast world including a field and mountains and the developer stated that "you can even go to those mountains in the distance if you walk far enough". They also stated they took their inspiration from the original Legend of Zelda where you are 'dropped' in a vast world and simply have to walk around and explore. In the trailer it showed that Epona, Link's horse, is back however it also showed Link riding her in a short blue tunic without a cap which could show a tunic changing method, similar to that in Ocarina of Time. He was also shown to be shooting a monster with a large bow where it didn't shoot arrows but something larger which glowed which could show that either the items are very extravagant or the items could be upgradable and/or combinable, which could be interesting for the 'exploration gameplay' theme that the developers are aiming for.
The next major feature for the Legend of Zelda series was the details revealed for Hyrule Warriors. In this game you fight an army with allies. There are lots of playable characters including Link, Zelda, Impa and notably Midna who is in her Imp form, riding Link in wolf form. Also revealed through the trailer is that the characters moves are specifically tailored to them for example Zelda uses her Light Arrows and Midna creates an arm from the orange 'hair' (can't think of a better word for it :P) behind her Fused Shadow mask. The release date was also revealed for this to be September the 16th 2014 for the Wii U.
Two other 'major reveals' included Yoshi's Wolly World and Captain Toad Treasure Tracker. Yoshi's Wolly World is a game where the whole world is a 3D environment made out of yarn, not the 'single strand' style shown in Kirby's Epic Yarn. This game is an action game that focuses around Yoshi's exploration and so Yoshi's abilities focus around this and there are also lots of transformations for Yoshi as he is made of Yarn. The next, Captain Toad Treasure Tracker, focuses around the red explorer toad from Super Mario Galaxy who features in his own game that looks alot like Galaxy as the worlds appear to be like singular 'boxes' almost, like in Galaxy.
Other reveals included a new Beyonetta game, a new Kirby game, Kirby and the Rainbow storm, a new Xenoblade game and a Mario Maker game which looks very interesting with the potential it could bring to build stages of both classic Mario and 3D Mario, and this makes very good use of the Wii U gamepad as a tool for developing the stages through dragging and dropping elements onto the main area.
Right, I'm sorry if that was overly long and drawn out I just wanted to try and include the main things especially about the new Pokemon game, even if there wasn't much revealed in the first place, but I hoped you liked my run through/review of Nintendo's E3 presentation.

Pokemon News #1 - Hoenn Megas???
Hello :)
Today I heard news of Mega Evolutions for the other two, Sceptile and Swampert, final evaluations of the three Hoenn starters, as Blaskin already received one in Pokemon X and Y.
In Pokemon X and Y the Mega Evaluations definitely benefited from having their sprites put into 3D models and even in the 2D designs and artwork many of the Mega forms of pokemon, such as Absol, are a welcome addition to both the pokemon themselves and in Gameplay, with only a few exceptions on design. (personal opinion :P )
I believe that Blasakin is definitely a Pokemon who benefited design wise in terms of it's Mega Evaluation. The contrasting Black and Red combined with the flames coming from it's hands definitely give it more of a fighting look and make it look a lot more fierce.
While there aren't any official art work or release pictures yet of Mega Septile or Mega Swampart the 'release' came through a CoroCoro leak along with others such as the redesigned trainers and the fact that Groudon and Kyogre's new 'forms' are known as 'Primal forms', think Primal Dialga from Mystery Dungeon Time, Darkness and Sky.
For me Mega Septile had a similar reaction as Mega Blasakin, this Mega form is a definite improvement and enhances the design of Septile and helps to make the pokemon look much more fierce and 'battle ready'. The new Mega Septile design has also made me look forward to seeing it put into a 3D model in-game.
However, on the other hand Swampert was one of the pokemon I hoped would get a Mega Evolution as it is one of my personal favourite pokemon, although I will admit I'm not the biggest fan of the 'Mega swampert'.
From the release picture I can see the Mega design for Swampert is similar to that of Abomasnow and especially Gyarados where it's simply gets bigger. Mainly Swampert's back gets a lot bigger and it can then use it's front two legs as fists, presumably to punch with. I think the reason why I'm not the biggest fan of swampert's Mega Evolution is because in the case of many Mega Evolutions like Blaziken, Charizard and Absol, they accentuate the best features (or add fan favourite ones in the case of Absol) of the pokemon and make them look, in a sentence, more epic, and swampert was a very almost elegant looking pokemon to begin with but I don't feel they have accentuated the best features. Though I'm sure the designers also had the fact that this is being designed for 3D now not for a 2D pixelated sprite as such so I'm sure we'll have to wait to see these in 3D or even in official art work to see how exactly they look and how their new designs can effect their fighting styles.
Hope you all liked my first review :)

Pokemon Sprite #3 - Milotic
Hello :)
This pokemon sprite is a combination of a Milotic, Leafeon and a Feraligatr. I tried something new with this pokemon sprite and kept the colour scheme for the main body pokemon exactly the same as the original and then tried to make the extra 'parts' almost melt into the main pokemon. I like how this new colour scheme worked out and I will definitely keep this as an option for future sprites. Another feature I like on this sprite is how well the extra parts blend into milotic's body. However on the other hand if I were to improve this sprite I would improve the tale end by possibly changing it to the tail end from a Dewgong but keeping the deep blue from the Milotic.
Hope you like this Sprite :)

Pokemon Sprite #2 - Nidoqueen
Hello everyone :)
This is the second pokemon sprite for the blog and in this one the main pokemon is Nidoqueen, combined with the added features of the tail of an Arbok and the wings of a Charizard.
I used a lot of different pokemon to colour this sprite. I used the colours of a shiny Ninetails to colour the main body and extended tail of the Nidoqueen. Then for the darker parts of Nidoqueens body I used the colours of a shiny Weezing. However for the wings I had to use a combination of Muk and the smoke of a shiny Weezing.
Overall I liked how this sprite did turn out, especially the tail and the colour scheme for Nidoqueen, however on the other hand I don't really like the colour of the wings and I felt it would of turned out better if they were darker, for example, the black wings of a shiny Charizard.
I hope you like this one, any comments are welcome :)
